What Makes The Quail House Different From Other Communities?

Our expert team provides customized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique needs, fostering independence and engagement.
Unlike the larger hotel-like institutions, our beautifully designed mansion feels like home, with elegant furnishings, cozy common areas, and secure outdoor spaces for relaxation.
Unlike the larger facilities where staff is nowhere to be found, our industry best 1:5 caregiver-to-resident ratio, provides your loved one with the attention and support they deserve.
We create strong connections with families, ensuring open and regular communication and involvement in their loved one’s care journey.

At the Quail House, we believe in more than just care—we believe in creating meaningful and genuine relationships, fostering joy, and preserving dignity for those afflicted by Alzheimer’s, dementia and or Parkinson’s.

Culinary

We purposely leave breakfast timing flexible as we like to respect individual wake up time preferences. Lunch is served at noon and dinner is served at 5 pm.
Nutritious and delicious food! First off, we get to know the residents and make sure they have an opportunity to share their likes and dislikes with us. We also consult with the families and medical provider in case there is any mechanical or health-related issues that would necessitate specific menu changes. Being a small boutique operator, we customize our menus weekly to accommodate everyone’s needs.
We survey the residents monthly to make sure they are happy with the meals and the portion sizes.

The care team will do everything possible to mitigate this from occurring by making sure the residents are well rested, fed, hydrated and medications are administered correctly and on time.

Medications Management and Diabetes Management

We can offer this service because we have a CLIA waiver. The only exception is that the amount of insulin administered cannot be based on a sliding scale.
Our trained med techs will assist with administration of all medications, vitamins and supplements. To do so, we must first have signed prescriptions from a doctor or nurse practitioner for ALL medications, vitamins and supplements, even Ensure requires a prescription.
