RoseMary has been in the senior care industry as an administrator and facility manager for over 35 years. As an advocate for senior issues, she has worn many hats. She has been a board member for the Nevada Senior Corp. Association, Nevada Legacy Corp and the Ron Wood Family Resource Center board. Today, her service continues as a Commissioner on the Governor’s Commission of Aging, the ALAC Board for Assisted Living Communities, Help of Southern Nevada, and the Respite Care Coalition of Nevada.
RoseMary is one of the few accredited trainers in Nevada for caregivers and administrators. She is well-known statewide as a politically astute former State Assemblywoman that promotes the needs of seniors.
As a licensed Administrator for Long Term Care, her experience as a manager of a 129 unit Assisted Living Community and as an Administrator of a 64 bed Alzheimer’s facility has given her a thorough understanding of the problems facing seniors and families of the aging.
Her continued service and concern for seniors in Southern Nevada includes involvement as a Marketing Director, Board Member and Board President for The Salvation Army Day Care Center for Dementia clients, The Alzheimer’s Association of Southern Nevada, and the Marion Residence for women over 60 years of age who were destitute.
RoseMary is the former owner and lead instructor at the Abba Learning Center where she taught classes for Caregivers, Medication Techs, Nurses, Personal Care Attendants, Mental Health Social Workers, and Administrators that are required by the State of Nevada for certification and licensing.
